It's been forever, but now I'm back and stronger than ever! Maybe not, but I'm back.

I don't know why it's been so long I guess I've just been busy with everything else. I haven't been taking many pictures lately, so I don't really have anything to upload at the moment or anything.

On a happier note there was a Formula One race today. Yay :D It didn't quite go perfect for my gorgeous Ferraris (:P) but they've never had a good pace in Monaco so it's not a huge surprise or anything. I actually ended up wanting to slap one Ferrari driver hard - Kimi Raikkonen. The smalles team called Force India had one car - Adrian Sutil - in P4 in the closing stages, and then Kimi brakes way to late in one corner, wrecks his own nose and Sutil's rear suspension. Sutil had to retire and I think he went out to the back of the pit to cry. I totally understand him. That was a one-time experience for him so far, and it would have been Force India's best result ever. I'm still mad at Kimi. Congratulations to Lewis Hamilton - the winner - by the way.

I should get going, as I have to do an assignment in danish and hand it in today. I've got 4½ hours left to do it, so that's enough. I should be done in about half and hour or so, I just can't pull myself together. :P

By the way, a Harry Potter actor who played Marcus Belby in Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince movie was killed in London yesterday. He was stabbed. My condolences to his friends and family.

Go Ferrari :D
Kimi you're very lucky I'm not close enough to slap you :(

I hate danish assignments.

On March 2nd the 27 year old Austrian skier Matthias Lanzinger had an awful crash during Super-G in Kvittfjell, Norway. He crashed into one of the gates during a jump, and his left ski didn't go off, so he broke his left leg two places. :(

As if that wasn't enough, he is at this moment in surgery, having his leg amputated below the knee. Because it was so heavily damaged the blood flow has stopped, and they have no way of saving his leg now. :(

I feel so sorry for him! Imagine being told by your doctor that you have to get your leg amputated. And he's a professional skier, his career basically depends on his legs. I just can't say how sorry I am for him, because I love skiing myself, and thankfully I've never had a really nasty accident, and this is just extreme.

I'm always watching alpine skiing and my favorite is Benjamin Raich, but Matthias Lanzinger was one of my favorites too.

Keep you spirits up Lanzi !

Thanks a lot to everyone who has given me :+devwatch:'s and :+fav:'s and adds - much appreciated

Okay so it's been a while. More like several months, but now I'm back on DA. I just went skiing with my family in Zell am See, Austria! I've been skiing since I was 3 years old, so I love it, and I think it's definately what I'm best at. It was a great trip and I'm sad it's over. However, I'm submitting some pictures from the trip soon!

The 2008 Formula One season is soon beginning! Yay! It's gonna be so great to finally watch them racing again. Going to Belgium to watch it live was an amazing experience, so now I'm only missing F1 more. If that's humanly possible, that is :P Ferrari has been looking good in the pre-season testing, so I'm hoping they'll get some great results.

Silly Season is finally over so know we know exactly where the drivers will be lining up this year. Alonso is leaving McLaren to go to Renault as I quite expected, whilst an 'old' driver Ralf Schumacher is leaving for DTM. No more Schumachers in F1 for now!
I'm happy that Alonso is leaving McLaren though, because I really don't like him, so I found it annoying that he was racing alongside Lewis Hamilton, whom I quite like.
Alonso, Flavio Briatore and Renault totally deserve each other to be frank.

I've also been to the movies and watched 'Jumper' and 'National Treasure 2'. They were good so you guys should check them out!

Hope to be back again soon, but right now I'm sort of bad at keeping to many promises :P

I just found out that Murray Walker - the famous, lovable, crazy - F1 commentators birthday was October 10th. To honour him, I'll write down some of his famous quotes

'It's raining and the track is wet'

'And there's just a few more corners for Nigel Mansell to go to win the Canadian Grand Prix... and... he's going rather slow.. HE'S STOPPING! HE'S STOPPING!'

Murray: 'There's a fiery glow coming from the back of the Ferrari!'
James: 'No Murray, that's he's rear safety light'

Murray in the navigator's seat in a Chevette HSR: 'And there's a 600 foot drop on my left.. AND we're doing 120 mph.. AND we're approaching a hairpin.. OH MY GOD we're going to die!'

'Only a few more laps to go and then the action will begin, unless this is the action, which it is'

'Michael Schumacher is leading Damon Hill with four tenths of a second or so, because it's moving [cut to Hill under Schumacher's rear wing] AND THAT'S NOT FOUR TENTHS OF A SECOND! That's Michael Schumacher!'

Murray: 'And there are flames coming from the back of Prost's car as he enters the swimming pool!'
James: 'Well, that should put them out then'

'Right underneath me, Michael Schumacher!'

'Michael Schumacher is actually in a very good position. He is in last place'

'It's not my job to produce the programme, so I'll say nothing!'

And there are much more fabulous comments said by Murray. Just google him and see.
:D :w00t:

Okay just one more!

Schumacher going to the pits because of a penalty: 'Is that a stop-and-go for Michael Schumacher or is it a 'your race is over, you naughty boy!'?'

Last F1 Grand Prix of the season coming up! Who will be crowned World Champion 2007?

Thanks a lot to everyone who has given me :+devwatch:'s and :+fav:'s much appreciated

So, I went to the Belgium Grand Prix and it was AWESOME :w00t: I can't believe how loud those cars are, I mean I knew they were loud, but it was crazy! So cool! Try removing your earplugs and you'll be deaf after 20 mins!

Anyways it wasn't just Formula One, there were other kinds of motorsport as well:

Formula One (Obvious really :P)
GP2 Series
Porsche Mobil1 SuperCup
Mini Challenge

So there was no time to be bored :D

And man, was the race perfect or what?! The two Ferraris on the front row, and a perfect raceday for them. Amazing! :w00t: And McLaren getting the penalty for spying on Ferrari? I think they damn well deserve it, if it is true that they were spying, and the evidence is kinda compromising..

I was just watching the Chinese Grand Prix, and I've got mixed feelings about it. Obviously I was very happy about Kimi bringing home another win for Ferrari, but I felt bad for Lewis Hamilton. I just can't take it if Alonso wins the Championship this year, and I feel that Lewis would deserve it. I just think his retirement was very odd o_O

- Oh and way to go Sebastian Vettel :aww:

Love, GiZi
